Helping Pastors to mature their churches

Through GDT we are currently training local pastors in India. We are teaching and distributing materials to help them train their church members to be mature disciples. Many of these church members have begun teaching their family members, neighbors and friends. Currently, we are using a 48 lesson course developed by Andrew Wommack Ministries called Discipleship Evangelism. This discipleship tool teaches a foundation of Bible Truths in a very practical and easy-to-use format, emphasizing the importance of our relationship with God.

Long-term relationships

Our goal is to maintain a long-term relationship with the pastors who have been through the training and to continually help and encourage them. It is great to see that here in India, God is raising up leaders to help us take this training further than where we could go on our own. We have established Pastor Samson as the National Director for India, Pastor Benjamin Harry as the State Director for Tamil Nadu and Pastor Paul as the State Director for Andhra Pradesh.

Discipleship all over India

The DE Course has been translated and is being used in two Indian languages; Tamil and Telugu. Over 200 pastors and leaders have already graduated from the course in 6 different areas. Most have immediately begun teaching the lessons in their churches. Nearly all have testified that their churches are growing and people are being set free hearing the truth about God’s grace and unconditional love.

Step by step, we will begin teaching in new states as well as bring the training into new areas within each state. GDT is a “Go ye” ministry, carrying out our calling to bring training and materials to pastors and people all over India, Asia and beyond.
